HOLLY HUMMEL (not accepting new clients) graduated from University of Oregon School of Law in 1982. While she was a law student, she interned for the Oregon Supreme Court. After graduation, she clerked for the Idaho Supreme Court from 1982 to 1984. She moved back to Oregon in 1984 and was an associate for several years with the international law firm of Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe. She started her own law firm in 1989 at which time she began representing landlords only in landlord/tenant litigation. From 1989 until 2005, Holly Hummel represented landlords in all aspects of landlord/tenant litigation, including, but not limited to, all aspects of evictions, fair housing, section 8, discrimination, retaliation and abandoned property issues. Holly Hummel practiced in FED Court, Circuit Court, and the Oregon Court of Appeals. Holly also became a well regarded public speaker on all issues affecting landlords, and was invited to speak before the Portland, Gresham and Beaverton landlord/forums, multifamily housing groups and Lorman and Sterling seminars. Although Holly is still an active member of the Oregon State Bar, in 2006, Holly Hummel left the active practice of law. Holly now sells real estate full time www.hollyhummel.com and is a multi-million dollar producer with Equity Builders Realty. Holly Hummel is proud to keep her name on the door and still serves as an advisor and counselor to the firm. |
